I went to CeDAR because I needed to be there One morning in group, my therapist Ken, asked how I was doing. I said I was having more problems than I know how to deal with and his exact words were, "it's your job to deal with the black cloud over your head". If you choose to go to CeDAR, take in to consideration that this is the type of treatment that you may receive.

WOW. CeDAR is my third treatment experience for alcohol use disorder - and I can honestly say that I have never felt so supported and cared for. Their program really targets all areas - mind, body, and spirit in a comprehensive way that I believe set me up for real success in my recovery. They also don't throw you out to the wolves when you leave like some treatment centers - the counselors and case managers make sure that you have a solid aftercare plan and the Alumni community is incredible as well. There is exposure to many pathways to recovery and no specific affiliation with one spiritual belief, which can be a setback for so many people who have had poor experiences with religion in the past (like myself). Everything is very open minded and they really encourage each patient to find what works for THEM. All humans are unique and therefore, I don't believe there's a one-size-fits-all recovery plan... They also provide personal trainers 4 days a week for patients to learn to take care of their bodies. Visitors are allowed every weekend and they were very understanding of my need to communicate with people outside and pay my bills while I was there, etc. Every single staff member is open and willing to sit down and have a conversation when one of us was struggling. The therapist I had while there dug deep with me from session #1 and really opened my eyes to the underlying issues that led me back to the bottle time and time again. The chaplain Will created such a safe space for me to share my story that I actually was able to overcome some of my hatred for all things spiritual and by the end of my stay, I was praying to a new version of a higher power. It was a genuinely inspiring experience, all around. I have really found my footing in sobriety thanks to CeDAR. I would recommend this program to anybody who is really ready to make a positive change in their life and needs sobriety. They pack a LOT into a short period of time. This program has changed my life in a major way. THANK YOU CEDAR!

I am so grateful for this program and all the staff there! They are the best dial diagnosis program in the Metro Denver area!

Yes
I'm interested in an outpatient program covered by Medicaid. Do you offer a program like that?
No it says on their website they don't

CeDAR hosts a number of 12-step fellowship meetings throughout the week, and we encourage inpatient and outpatient participants to attend. Our primary treatment modalities are psychotherapy, medication-assisted treatments, and peer-assisted coaching.
