We got take out from this restaurant the other night on a whim, and I am so glad we did. The TVP tasted like actual meat and not bland/cardboardy like a lot of other restaurants; the owner actually makes an effort to care about her vegetarian dishes. For the amount of food we got, the cost was incredible and very fair. We got the curry and the jerk TVP meals and while the TVP was incredible, I think the rice was the real star of the show. Amazing texture and flavor, and paired incredibly well with everything. Absolutely give this place a shot

Good food at a good price, it’s nothing particularly special but if you’re looking for Caribbean food in the area this is definitely a more cost effective option than other local places.

Really friendly staff, and is a great hidden little Jamaican restaurant where you can help your Beef Jamaican Patty addiction… A tiny paradise!

They do not have an online menu that I know of... However, the food is delicious and it's worth the drive. Val and her husband are the cooks and it's a small hole in the wall, but the food is authentic and will definitely wet your whistle. Take your hearty appetite

She doesn't. Its worth the drive and I would choose her over ANYBODY with Caribbean food in Alachua county.
