Best coin shop I’ve been to. Staff is knowledgeable, helpful, polite, and patient. Awesome selection of ancient coins at very reasonable prices. Plan on going back soon!

This was my coin shop for years and years. I loved this place. I always felt welcomed even when I was a kid. I remember once, I even interviewed him for a school project. Now that I am much older, I look back and can really appreciate having this place that I could go to. Thank you for all the knowledge, time, trust and energy.

Really nice shop! I have recently taken an interest in silver bullion and wanted to buy a few pieces to start. The owner is knowledgeable and friendly. Prices are competitive and you get to see what you are buying (unlike online retailers). I now have a few nice coins to display and can keep learning more about the hobby. I definitely recommend checking this place out.

Treasure Island Stamps & Coins is, well, a treasure and an island in this hustle and bustle known as the Silicon Valley! After searching for some obscure coins, I happened upon Treasure Island Stamps & Coins after reading some internet reviews. I stopped by a few days later at the shop. It's located on the corner of El Camino Real and Wilton Ave (across from Hong Kong Restaurant). Even though the shop was busy that day, the owner (Rudy) was very helpful. He patiently answered my many questions and offered some great tips. I didn't buy anything during that first visit but he seemed perfectly okay with that. A few days later, I returned. The owner remembered me from my previous visit. We spoke about coins and stamps. He offered even more insight about coins too. He was very honest about coins and their value. I ended up making some great purchases for which I've been very happy along with gifts for nephews, nieces and my dad. Interestingly, I've found prices to be better than what I found on eBay and other online outlets. The shop is quaint. It certainly isn't pretentious like some coin and stamp shops. It feels like a friendly community shop that truly values those who visit. PARKING: On my first visit, I parked along the street down Wilton Ave. However, I discovered that you can park along El Camino Real in front of the shop as well as the private parking lot located next to the south side of the building. PAYMENT: The shop accepts cash or credit/debit card. BUYING/SELLING: I haven't sold anything, but I have been in the shop when people sold items. They seemed very happy with the process and what they were offered.

Do you buy stamps
I know that they buy them there, but only certain ones they need.
