Very nice church. Went to observe a renewal of wedding vows and was very impressed with the church. It was clean, covid protocols were observed and the door was left open for extra ventilation. The Father who officiated was very professional while not being a pompous oaf. I liked him but cannot remember his name. Had a good sense of humor and was aware of the real world as it is, not as it should be.

Calm place and beautiful place to worship

Each January, I visit family in Sunnyvale and attend Resurrection for the Epiphany or Jesus' Baptism. It is such a joy for me, a stranger, to feel instantly at home. I usually attend the 10 a.m. mass. This year, my 10th, Fr. Allen Navarro gave a great homily - urging us to find "balance" in our prayer life the way we might work at a New Years Resolution. Sure fit for me. Kathleen Faust, the pastoral associate in music greets me and warmly encourages congregational singing. I love watching the children process out for their own liturgy of the Word then return to bring up gifts from the congregation - food pantry donations as well as the collection, the bread and wine. The BEAUTY of the architecture and stained glass all around contribute to making it a wonderful place to worship.

There's coffee and donuts served after the 8.30am and 10am masses usually. :) it's not there next week though. But usually there is. Welcome to our church. :)
