We love this park! The disc golf course is great, scenery is beautiful. There's a boat launch and kayaking the river, paved walkways you can walk/run/bike/rollerblade. There are a couple of playgrounds as well. There are ponds and such which naturally bring geese so watch for goose poop!

A great park for various different things like biking, hiking, or even disc golf! It's right along the river with a vast pond as well. There's unique wildlife at the pond as well as a wide variety of fish to catch!

One of the best things about grand rapids. This park is always week maintained and stretches along the grand River for miles. There are parts of this park I could and have, spent hours relaxing.

They have a large disc golf course. No gold course though. Can be a bit wet in spring and after h as rs rains. Be prepared to go swimming if your frisbee goes in!
It can be but just keep in mind not too far down the river is the dam. River can flow pretty strong in this area as well. You might find a paddle boat a bit of a struggle getting back up River
First come first serve is how I believe it's always been. If it's a big event you'll have to contact city hall though.
The bike trail runs along the Grand River all through the park. Keep going north of the park, cross the bridge on North Park Street, and the White Pine Trail continues going north.
Thier are rest rooms near the entrance down by vets facility they worked during pow wow in June
Yes the entrance is off Monroe. Yes the fields have bleachers and yes you can bring your own chair if you want to sit comfortably. Great place to baseball they also have a concession stand.
You can see the diamonds from Monroe street across from the Veterans Home.
I'm not sure. If it is free probably not. But I would still check with the city about hour's of distribution.
They will lock the gate at closing time. If you are parked in the lot you will have to wait until opening the next day. Police use their own discretion when issuing citations. The city has a guy drive through with a yellow flasher when they are ready to close.
You can drive through about half way from the north entrance but not all the way through.
