When I first reached out to OVR, it took weeks to get a response and when I did, I was given excuses for the delays which I accepted. I went to my appointment and was told that they would pay for my education so I could get sustainable employment to meet my physical limitations. That was the last I heard from my caseworker or anyone. They sent me to sign up for college and then dropped the ball. They never returned my calls or answered emails concerning the actual forms for paying the tuition. This is the third time in 3 different counties that I’ve tried to utilize help from OVR and was left sorely disappointed. Update, last week I received a letter from them telling me that I qualified for their help but was being placed on a waiting list.... this is a FULL YEAR AFTER they told me to sign up for college classes and that they would pay for them. Then ghosted me. I’m not sure if this is that “new math” but it doesn’t add up. If I could give them less than 0 stars, I would at this point.
