I paid debt that these people are trying to collect. Scam all day every day. Do not interact with this company.

I owe a debt, got sent here, set a payment plan, all is good. All you people mad that you don't want to pay your debt look kind of dumb FYI the amount is correct, confirmed by the original company that I owed. Not sure what the big issue is other than people are mad they owe money 🤷

Penn Credit Corp representatives are very unprofessional. I tried to tell the person (putting it lightly) my mother passed. All they wanted to know is who was the executor. There is none. I have no more information for you I was told. I was the one providing info. Debt collectors are not to start off ignorant. I advised Penn Billing my mother passed months ago. DO NOT CONTACT MY MOTHER AGAIN. LET HER REST. Any further bills are going directly in the trash. Chase after that.

They are scam, they send me a fake letter on my mail with a big amount of money , and they kept asking me to pay even when I explained to them this is not me

if they ask me about supervisor I'd just give phone to my dog
I got the same thing and I am across the country
Prob because the company is not real lol.
The only way for them to track what the payment was for is to track the card number itself. My guess would be either someone stole her credit card info or she set up a payment plan on a debt.
They collect 39% on anything they collect. They get 15 year old lists
My husband keeps getting the same letter saying he owes money to Maryland and we live in Michigan! Lol
This is a scam. I received a letter. I called the clerk of court. It’s a scam.

How on earth did you not google “EMS” before posting this? You are on Google’s homepage ffs.
Call the credit reporting companies and ask it be removed. Provide proof to resolve your dispute.
I would not pay them I would call the company you owe first and see which credit agency they are using. They usually use LJ Ross
Public defender is an approved right unless you can hire your own attorney. You would owe nothing
They are doing this to me also! Wrong spelling of my name on Penn’s end. They are required, by law, to stop once the issue has been pointed out. They are fishing for suckers!!
No it's not illegal. It is illegal however for a collection agency to call anybody past 9pm or before 8am
Call my extension 800-900-1384 after noon today, I will help you
Your property is being held by an collection agnecy? You must owe a lot of $$.. And technically.. a google review isn't a legal notice. If you have a problem, contact the agency.
Just like your first bill is sent out a month after you sign up for services, the final bill goes out about a month after you leave your house. That's why they always ask for forwarding address. They have to send someone to read your meter and then send out the bill. If you truly believe you paid your final bill then request an itemized bill from them and get your bank statements and compare the two.
They also handle customer service for hospitals and follow up claim work for medical insurance
Google voice numbers. Can get local area codes. They are very unproffesional.
Call DTE direct if you think you owe them because DTE has their own collection agency and this isn't it.
Your debt was sold to Pen Credit now they will see to it that you pay what you owe.
That is a collection company, so if you don't owe it I'd clear it up with the original creditor. If that's not an option, you can dispute it with the credit bureaus
Did they confirm who they were speaking to?
Do nothing for now. These look like thieves. Only the IRS can charge you if you owe taxes,
Your word against a states word
Not surprised at all, I have been dead since 1992!
