My son has been at Centerburg Respiratory and Specialty Rehab for almost a year. He needs 24/7 care. This is his home now and I can't say enough good things about the nurses and the care he gets. I feel completely at ease as far as his care and his mental state are concerned. They are also great at contacting me when needed. The building is clean and well taken care of. Thank you!

My husband loves being at Centerburg, even during the pandemic with COVID around in our world, they have taken such great care of him in the last 3 1/2 months & he actually doesn’t want to have to leave them, many of them are his friends now & I gave the facility a very high rating because I really appreciate them !!!

a lot of places are ranked higher than this place. those places dont even try to listen to their patients at all and are horribly rude and neglectful. ive been to many places, a lot ranked way higher, and this is by far the nicest, most helpful, wonderful place ive ever been at. before i came here, i was ready to go from a full code to D.N.R cause was tired of the horrible treatment everywhere else.this place is so amazing!!!! i love it here. the care and people are amazing!!!!

My father went to this nursing home during a 5 day respite for me, just before his passing. I took care of my father at home because every other nursing home, care facility he was in after his stroke was inhumane and uncaring. This was an exception. They were kind and attentive and made my dad feel comfortable. My only negative is that I did find my dad with an over flowed diaper one time which I changed and requested the sheets be changed immediately...the aide on duty should have caught he was wet before overflowing but I still rank pretty high considering the 3 other homes he was in constantly ignored him, took his call button away from his reach and didn't feed him until all other residents food was served making his food cold and often tried to feed him regular food which he could not eat...he required pureed food. I think the difference is that it is a smaller facility in a small town and possibly that they knew I lived so close (I walked there) that I could pop in at any time, which I did. Bottom line, I would still never put a loved one in a Nursing home full time but as a respite this location was very good.
