I love beach and sunglow pier is a great place to go to the beach. Good restaurant (Crabby Joe's) and it's not super busy so most of the time there's no problem finding a parking spot.

I really liked it, my husband was fishing for a while and we ate at the restaurant that is just entering the pier and it was delicious

This pier is the best pier in Daytona Beach! The restaurant is amazing! Great views, food, and staff. You can walk through the restaurant to get to the fishing area. This is probably the best pier I’ve ever been to.

Blonde hair attendant given too much power. Crowded day and was read the riot act for walking out without any gear to see if there was room to fish. She then screamed at my friend who stayed with the equipment. Threw over the top attitude when we went to pay to fish on the over crowded pier. Decided to leave. Took money back and we’re heading out when the lady came running and yelling after us that we, and I quote here, “You’ll never fish on her pier again”. Okay lady. We will avoid you. There are a million places to fish in FL. But I’m gonna share this story with every single person I know. Update; later that evening, after writing an email on the “Contact Us” tab of their website, I received a call from Nicole, the general manager of the restaurant and pier. I’d like to thank Nicole for her professionalism and understanding. She made this situation right. Something that is far too uncommon these days. Thanks, Nicole.

I think they're only open for breakfast and lunch. Not sure. I'd check out web page to be sure.
Yes to both. Nets are provided for the pier, so you don't have to bring one.
I just googled their site and it says that it's $7 for adults to get access to the fishing area and rods are $3 an hour or $7 to rent for all day. Hope this helps you out!
No, the pier closes at 10:00PM.
It was $7.00 the last time I was there. There is a small gift shop on the deck outside the back of the restaurant where you can pay.
Shrimp live or frozen works good. Hell they will probably eat worms if u got some.
High tide. Brings more fish species closer to the pier.
We were there a month ago but they weren't catching much. A Small baby shark is what we saw someone else catch.
As far as I know it's only service dogs
They say the season starts in March. I was there in June and no one was catching anything on the peir
Black tips and spinner sharks. Bad thing is the pier closes at ten
No but not sure. Most of the beachs u cant be there after 11
It's better to be there as soon as they open it's still dark and the fish bite like crazy. It's a very fun experience. If if u have kids I. The 5 to 15 bracket it's even better to see them catch fish.
Its $7/person/day
No - you can fish off any peir - apparently the peirs have a license
Sunglow is open for business. The hurricane took a small section at the end of the pier. It is now just shorter.
I have seen sharks, mantaray, sheephead, flounder, whiting and many different types of fish caught.
Live mullet an shrimp
We are currently replacing the old piling in front at this time
