I go to The Roxy all of the time, so when a close family member was coming to NYC, I recommended it. The room and maintenance service was great, but the front desk staff was not. They came across as aloof, prickly, and unconcerned with the guest experience. For a stylish place like The Roxy this is sad, and doesn't match the aesthetic. The Roxy should have the type of front desk service that matches it's decor. I hope it happens. They're missing a real opportunity.

The hotel is located in a very good area, room are spacious. However we were very disappointed as to get your room cleaned you need to specifically request for it, even after requesting it our room was not cleaned up. To apologyze the hotel offered a breakfast voucher that could only be used for one thing on the menu (very poor service) the breakfast is very pricy and the service is very very poor. Also, rooms are very noisy at night.

Booked this hotel for my boss and I'll never put anyone else there again! She waited an hour to be checked in on Monday, 10/10. Then 15 minutes after getting to her room, she had a complete stranger walk in who had just been given a key to the same room. The front desk was so unorganized and confused. Absolute fiasco!

Todo fue agradable en la estancia, el problema vino después, cuando me llegó a cargo of 7500 pesos extra, pedí aclaración, envie mi consumo de esa noche, mi estado de cuenta y pasaporte to notice that yo no había consumed nada en el bar. Sólo iba con mi hijo de 8 años y nunca resolvieron me, weigh a que pidieron que bajara los malos comentarios que se habían hecho. Es muy frustrante que hagan esto, como uno es extranjero abusan y maltratan. Sigo deprimida y sad por esta horrible experiencia y ellos sólo ignoran mis mensajes. It all depends on the scope/nature of the request, but the hotel has been known to assist as best as they can.
You can use parking lot near by the hotel and get some discount.

It is a very nice location! Closer to the end of Manhattan than midtown, which is good!
