ROACHES !!! Stove doesn’t work. Housekeeping won’t give you towels you gotta go to front desk. No silverware,plates, pots nor pans in the room you gotta get them from front desk. Old run down hotel don’t stay here the worst hotel. I’ve killed 3 ROACHES. No pool!

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!!! How do you give negative stars! We reserved online as it was the only hotel with enough beds for our family. We get there with four, exhausted children only to hear "we don't have a room for you, someone should have called you". We DID HAVE a reservation and no, no one called us. The receptionist at the front desk told my husband "we only have 1 room with a king bed but I would not take it because it's nasty and smells like urine". No apologies, no solutions, although I appreciate her honesty. To some extent I'm glad we didn't stay there because I did not bring any amoxicillin for this hotel. Definitely not family friendly or clean or even safe.

THAT'S NOT MY JOB!!!!! Housekeeping doesn't want to perform their job at all. Two towels per week for two people and no toilet paper. When you ask for more towels they are rude and tell you they'll call you when they are ready. It takes them several hours to get clean towels. You get supplied with sheets in your hand because they just don't want to do that for a paycheck. The ring around the tub is never clean. There is a thick layer of dust around the bathtub and the urine around the base of the toilet is so old and layered with dust. They won't sweep or mop and there are black spots all over the hard floors. They want you to buy all of your cleaning supplies and mop and brrom and do this yourself. Our truck was completetly full driving to get here and we had to buy household supplies to stay. There's a small oven but you can't use it unless you buy more dishes!!!! And there's no pantry to put food in and the cabinets are put in high to have an under the cabinet microwave so I cannot reach the top shelf. I'm limited to two reachable shelves and a lower cabinet. The one under the sink is all wet from leaking faucet seals. I'm from Texas and the hotel rooms there are small and they charge way too much for a room but they are clean, they change sheets, you get clean towels, they take out the trash. Service here is really bad and they do not care that you're a paying customer!!!! They are soooooooooooo rude and they constantly say we're going to charge you more for that. Even when you try to log into the "free" internet they try to sell you faster internet service. This place will nickle and dime you to death. Try to get a room at candlewood suites in newport news because they have free washers and dryers, the rooms are huge, and they supply necessities.

Upon arrival, I was reminded of my youth when I smelled the fragrance of methamphetamines. The room did come with a kitchenette however the staff neglected to leave any China, cutlery, or pots and pans. Half of the window curtain rod was detached, the AC was not blowing cold air, the closet curtain covering was half detached and the sink appeared to be used as an ashtray/stem rest.
