The staff was discriminatory and assumed because I was one of the only black folks on the third floor that a weed smell had to have been coming from my room at 11 at night. I had kids with me,I don't smoke either. The staff would be cordial on the first floor, but if you spoke to them in any other floor, they literally purposely ignore you. I know this review doesn't mean much in the grand scheme of their business but. If you're black single woman with kids looking for a place to stay ...you're better off going to the Red Roof Inn.

BEDBUGS AND ROACHES Checked in, got a room. When we entered the room, my wife made a quick check on the cleanliness of the room as usual. Found the 2 beds and pillows covered with bedbugs. Roaches around the room and on the desk. Went to the front desk, they were like we don’t have any other rooms available, we’re sold out. It was around 11 at night. We had to collect our stuff and shop around for another room in the area. Night before the Memorial Day, all hotels were sold out and we had to pay a lot more to get another room to spend the night. Horrible experience. Will never use this chain of hotels again and will never recommend them to anyone.

We booked two rooms weeks in advance for our son's graduation. After a 9 hour car trip due to weather we arrived around midnight. Upon check- in we were told that the rooms were on opposite ends of the 3rd floor and the elevator was out. I had specifically told the reservation person that we had a disabled child and need easy access and to be close to one another. The elevator has been broken down for 5 months according to employees yet it wasn't disclosed. So we carried all our luggage up 3 flights of stairs. There wasn't even a coffee pot in the room with a kitchenette. I walked back down to speak to the manager 3 times that next morning about switching rooms for my disabled daughter. I was told the manager wasn't in. Yet at checkout on Sunday the same employee said she could offer a discount for one of the rooms. I accepted that as it was too late to do much about it. The rooms were generally clean but smelled moldy. The entire hallways of the 3rd floor smelled like weed and smoke as soon as you come out the stairway. I knew this wasn't a 5 star hotel but we have stayed at much nicer extended stays before At least be honest so patrons can make an informed decision.

Positive: Friendly staff, free parking, location close to restaurants & gas, clean room. Negative: The room was clean, but there was a doorknob missing on the bathroom door. Some stains on the carpet and the chest of drawers had obvious defects in the finish. However, for the price, it was fine with me.

You will get better rates if you book weekly. Rates will defer on different sites. Better to go to their website and book directly or call them and bokk - you will get better discount
