Birchwood is marketed as an Active Adult 55+ planned community. This is allowed based on the provisions of the HOPA (Housing for Older Persons Act) which was signed into law by President Bill Clinton on December 28, 1995.

When will the clubhouse and amenities be open and how long will it take for Birchwood to get built out?

The Birchwood clubhouse is expected to be completed in the summer of 2019. Birchwood will feature over 1,500 homes and we anticipate to be building in the community for the next few years!

Will the HOA and Condo Fees go up and by how much?

HOA and Condo Fees typically adjust based on the needs of the community. Our Birchwood HOA and Condo documents provide our buyers a budget projection. The HOA/Condo Documents are handed to the buyer once they sign a purchase agreement for their new Van Metre home.
