I mentioned Dr Sharma’s name to several unrelated doctors in town and all them without hesitation said she’s amazing so I felt very confident going in. She’s professional, thorough and concise and will make your visit very simple despite all your anxieties and worries going in. I’m very happy I was placed in her care.

I had a a follow-up appointment after receiving news from Dr. Goyal that no one is prepared to hear. Her staff Liz directly informed me in May that I needed to get my $30.00 copay and call them back because I must have my copay before I receive medical service. The way Liz spoke to me and was rude also showed me who she really was... All about money and not care! Fast forward At 10:29 am today on (August 09, 2021) I call and OMG who answered the phone... Yes (Liz) whom I asked for my labs and records to be faxed to a number I would like to provide. Liz indicated Lisa in records opens in a few seconds at 10:30 am I replied okay can you transfer me please, then Liz stated call back in 15 to 20 minutes they will be open. Okay, seconds ago she either Lied or just didn't want to do her job and stated records open at 10:30 am! This type of pattern and practice of treatment I received previous and now from this Office staffer (Liz) is Why I am taking my CARE where I will be Respected and Treated with Dignity while receiving transparency. As a POC equal access to quality HEALTH CARE matter more than ever especially in the time of COVID-19 and this Delta Variant being double infectious. Inequalities still exist in Health Care when it comes to BLACK WOMEN...even when you are politely trying to ask for your records to be faxed in preparation to move forward to reputable new rheumatology in planning for your new appointment on August 17, 2021! Be your own Health advocate in being proactive for your own Health. No one will care more about your HEALTH than YOU! WOW WOW ❗ 😮

My husband and I have been patients at the Center for Rheumatic Disease since 2009 and have never been disappointed..We have seen Dr Anu Sharma since that time. We have never been disappointed in her knowledge, contacts, care and concern. For all of the time she has been our physician, she has been our “go to doc”. When we have needed a referral, her recommendations have always been “spot on”. We spend half of our time in Florida and when we have needed her she has been extraordinarily responsive. Most recently my husband was diagnosed in Florida with 2 small melanomas. We requested the records be sent to Dr Sharma. Immediately upon receiving the records she called to make sure that we had everything we needed because the surgery was going to be in Maryland. She was reaching out to make sure we were on top of the situation and offering her assistance with getting us the needed appointments and identifying the right physicians. It is because of her personal touch and willingness to step in when appropriate that we have no need for a concierge doctor. In short, she is an outstanding physician with a great staff who try their best to meet patient needs. Judith B

I do not recommend Dr. Goya and her office. The office workers are not honest and do not return calls. They told me the Prolia injection will only cost me $25.00 and then they sent me a bill for $1,814.61. The Prolia copay program will pay $1500 for the two injections per year after you pay the $25.00. Other offices I called charge $600 for each injection. Dr. Goya’s office charged $1,814.61 for one injection. Choose another office and doctor. This office is only about making money and not taking care of patient.

You should call the office and let them know. I don't think they look at these comments, this is only for other Google maps users. 😀
