Staff is more than helpful and polite, rooms are clean and have wonderful amenities, the guests have been pleasant also, with no crazy happenings, a safe and excellent place to stay!!!!

This place was absolutely terrible. The smell upstairs was like a zoo. I guess because they have guests staying there with pets but don't deodorize the carpets or anything to get rid of the pet odors. The rooms were dirty with trash left behind under the bed, under the sofa bed, unidentified substances stuck on the desk. One room reeked of urine. The cleaners must not do even the most superficial of jobs cleaning. The sofa beds I was expecting to be equipped with linens and pillows available had just bare ripped plastic on the mattresses. I had to request linens and pillows from downstairs but what they sent was no fitted sheets, and no pillows. They ended up offering to refund me 50% for the one night stay in two rooms but I feel I still paid too much. If I had checked in earlier in the day and wasnt dead tired from the drive to VA and the party we attended I would have walked right back out and found other accomodations that night. My advice is don't do it to yourself.

Positive: The rooms were dirty/ bathroom hair and dirt. The staff switched me to a double bedroom. The staff explained that there was only one housekeeper cleaning 40 plus rooms. Me working as a housekeeper in the pass . For The Best Western I knew about rooms. Negative: The smell, dirty restroom and rooms need to be renovated. For the price it want and not worth it. More like a $--- a night motel.

Not all Extended Stays are the same. We stayed at one near Slippery Rock and it was very clean, had a very nice “Pantry” to buy food and other items as well as free food and toiletries. This one, completely the opposite. No such Pantry, the laundry room had dirt and what appeared to be trash on the floor. Getting up to our room the hallway was grimy and not very well lit. We opened the door to our room and we were greeted with dirt on the tile floor, a quarter on the carpet next to the bed and a countertop that had a layer of grim on it. The worst part was when my daughter got out of the shower and pointed out short curly hairs on the tile walls of the shower! The lady at the front desk was nice, she called the manager and they offered to comp the first night and send a cleaning crew up in the morning. Seemed fair. I went back up to the room and the more my family talked we were just not comfortable sleeping there. Then I picked up the phone to call the front desk…No dial tone. The phone wasn’t even hooked up! Needless to say, we told the front desk lady we wanted a full refund, packed our things and found another place to stay.
