It is a very budget friendly place to stay in. There is on site community laundry room (FYI not for free), and in the room there is a small stovetop with two burners and a microwave, a small circular desk, and a nice TV that makes it comfortable to stay in for the medium term. The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and professional. Its location in North Chesterfield also makes it a great spot for anyone who wants to shop, grab fast food, and tour apartments (if you are moving to Richmond). The only critical feedback I would give is that I would remove the carpet in the room (it's not all carpeted just the area around the TV and bed was carpeted in my room). The reason for this is that it holds onto a lot of dirt, and I noticed that whether it was me or the cleaning staff that was cleaning the floors, it was hard getting all the dirt out of it. InTown Suites is perfect for people looking for a medium to long-term stay in a comfortable and affordable hotel. I would refer this place for people working for a few months in that location, travelling college students and small families, and people who are new and moving to the city. I would not refer this place to travelling business people or tourists with a high budget; as it is more focused on comfort, affordability, and practicality rather than luxury.

I'm here for an extended stay and wish I wasn't even though I've stayed in worse (and better.) The price is decent for the location. I can tell there has been some cosmetic renovation work but the rest needs attention. For instance, the grates and appliances look old and rusty. The areas outside of the room can use more attention. The carpet in the hall, the elevator, the doors, the rear entryway, all need regular attention that doesn't seem to have been consistently attended to our if it was, not well. The staff is great, though.

This is an adequate place to stay for a short stint, because the price od's cheaper than renting an apartment, but you get what you pay for. It needs some upgrades and I don't feel as comfortable with cleanliness, because I've seen some parts in my room and around that need touching up. I can hear my neighbor without trying, the fridge sweats on the food inside, but it's also fifteen year old manufacturing date. The bed is fine, the front office staff seems good but I'm not sure how much the cleaners do or are supposed to. The hall carpets and the stairwell look like they need cleaning. That being said, it's near the mall, movies and everything else you need. There's cable and internet. It's not the worst place I've stayed, but not my choice if I could do any better at this time. I do appreciate this option, but want to leave asap. The value is at least 3 stars, but the place itself is 2 stars. I wish I could give a better score.
