Stopped in for lunch on a Monday! We went around 11:30 and we were seated instantly and the service was quick and friendly. We have been dying to try this place for dinner but it is extremely packed usually with an hour and a half + wait, but boy do I see why! Our server let us know that the seafood is always fresh, never frozen and it is taken from their seafood market in the same building which is right next door. I love that you can come for lunch/dinner or stop by at their market and purchase your own fresh seafood to cook at home! The prices are phenomenal for FRESH seafood. My entree was $17 and it comes with 2 sides plus hush puppies. It was beyond delicious and you could taste the quality of the fish. My husband ordered the fried oysters and they were so tasty and fried to perfection! Our food came extremely quick, we ordered and had it on our table within 15 minutes top. I will say, if you're new to the area or visiting on vacation and you've been wanting to try Hulls, I definitely recommend coming for lunch especially during a weekday if you can, the wait is almost nonexistent. If you're wanting to try for dinner, just be prepared for a wait but know that it's more than worth it! They do have limited parking in the front, but they have free valet parking in the back and also parking across the street near the school. The menu has TONS of options, pages worth so you're bound to find something that everyone will love on the menu. We can't wait to go back and try more!

Simply delicious and deserving of a repeat! I had a bowl of New England Clam Chowder and it was one of the best bowls of chowder I’ve ever had. For my entree, I had blackened grouper with Cuban black beans and vegetables and my wife had blackened cod and fried shrimp with red potatoes and a salad. Both plates were cleaned and we left happy customers! Two thumbs up!!

The best seafood we had in Ormond! The menu is extensive so you’ll want to go back more than once (as we did) to try some different items - all of which are very fresh and delicious. The place can get packed for dinner - even with substantial indoor and outdoor seating - so be prepared to wait (but it’s worth it!) You can also always order takeout from the counter out front. Lots of great daily specials to choose from - we took our massive piece of shark to the beach, which in retrospect was probably cruel and insensitive to the local Selachimorpha community… we wouldn’t eat eggs in a chicken coop or make a cow watch me hork down a burger. But I digress. Bonus: awesome gator bites!

Blueberry hush puppies are fantastic! The fried conch was spot on. The Fran hot fish and crab cakes were super. Loved the soups too. Liked the lobster roll. Warning; ask what the best way is to prepare your fresh fish selection. The sever is knowledgeable. Clean kitchen and very efficient service. It’s a bit elevated from the average priced restaurant, but the food is totally worth the price.

Yes
Yes they have them. Its a restaurant and fresh side
please give us a call, we have two different options, or it's also listed on our website
They do however everywhere you go Seafood is not cheap but it's the best you only live once why not eat the best
Assume you're looking to take away so you'd be better off utilizing the hull's market instead of the restaurant. You can order by the pound or give an exact number you want.
Probably too late for ya, but I'm pretty sure I saw a Happy hour sign when we were there, don't remember what it said about hours though, sorry.
Of course U can & the Food is Great Enjoy 😋
Yes they serve cocktails
No, first come first serve. 5pm and after it gets pretty crowded
Yes we do have outside seating, and yes we have steamed blue crabs at times. Just depends on availability.
See our website for pricing. https://order.bestseafoodinfl.com
I believe you should bake them in the oven. I always bake the frozen ones from Publix
To answer the question, yes we have multiple different types of boils. Yes we do take food stamps. The restaurant cooks anything fresh from the market, monday through friday 10:30-3p for $2/lb. Thank you.
Try Hull's
Not until the mullet run in the fall
Yes they are
We sell the whole octopus that you can take him and prepare it yourself. Very delicious.
Yes it is
Yes. Served in resteraunt.
This isn't a question.
I don't remember Oster they did have
This isn't exactly a fine dining experience. Good food, but more suited to paper cups than crystal wine glasses.
Not sure what kind, but everything was delicious.
Call the store
Varies
currently the south atlantic tile fish season is closed for us, we may get some from the gulf of mexico here and there.
Call the restaurant. Most are closed on Easter Sunday
Here's the thing, if you're in the area you wouldn't want Walleye or Pike because the chances of it being fresh are very low. No on the flip side, if you're at Hull's you'll want to try many of the locally caught delicacies they catch themselves on their boats or by local fisherman. Great place.
We have a selection of herring and can usually procure what you’d like.
Hulls prices are a bit higher but crab leg prices are always high. Publix has a good sale, every 4 weeks, it seems. Watch the circulars for it. Never get crab from Winn Dixie, never good.
Give them a call
no, only frozen. We have fresh blue crabs
It sure made them harder to get as it went through the supply house we get them from, they're starting to get everything back together thought
I believe they do but check the website and if you don't get your answer call
Yes, we can accommodate gluten free meals. Not a problem.
According to the website, "Hours may differ" on Labor Day. They normally are open every day from 10-6.
