They throw packages over fence and break packages and contents. Shameful. They deliver packages to the wrong house and do nothing about it. Completely incompetent and worthless. We should end their pensions. I have emailed my representatives so they know we are tired of the USPS incompetence and we should end their free ride.

I came to this location to return a package from ebay. The return instructions clearly told me to return to USPS through this location. I got here and the lady was impolite and told me they could not return it because it had a UPS label on it, she spoke to me like I was stupid. I told her my situation and she still said no. I decided to get back in line and another guy helped me this time and was able to return it in a breeze. The first woman was rude and it appears she needs better training.

The postal carrier has a card printed for each person in a home, apartment, business. If the name is listed as a forner occupant or if someone accidentally switched, removed, or lost the card, the mail can be lost, delayed, or delivered incorrectly. If you can catch the mail carrier in your neighborhood you can inform him/her of what is going on. Show them your ID and they can correctly add your name to your address. It happened to me and this is what I did.
You have to go in. This is Google answers. This location is notorious for not answering the phone.
What you would need to do is contact the addressee...the person receiving the items in the mail should know where they would be sent..
Write put in wrong box and throw it in the collections box.
All mail in Albuquerque goes to the main post office then goes out to Santa Fe and the rest of the state.
It depends if you have a good letter carrier they would have summited a form to get it replaced normally takes a week. You mail will be held at your local post office.
No
No way to recover it. Your gonna have to contact the sender
Do you live on a main street? If so, they may be heading to their route, which is a different neighborhood than yours. Do you get mail delivery to your house or to a neighborhood gang box? If it comes to a gang box, you have to put your mail in the out-going mail slot on that box.
Yes but you will need something else like a social security card or birth certificate as proof of who you are.
This is not answered by the mail service, go in and file a complaint. Best option since you rarely get anyone by phone.
It could be in another vehicle because it wouldn't fit or did not get talen by your normal driver.
12pm to 5pm, expect your box at 3pm
I'm pretty sure the only place to get a passport is the main post office on 1135 Broadway just north of Lomas. Last time I got one, you had to bring 2 photos with you. You can get them at most Walgreens for $14.99. travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports.html for official information.
I assume they take the phone off the hook as soon as they get there. I have probably called that number 100 times over the last 15 years and always have gotten a busy signal. I can occasionally get through to the Main office on Broadway.
I'm very sorry that you're having a difficult time reaching them. Once they get busy, they try to get the line down before answering the phone. It will be your best bet to go in at 2pm and the line might still have four or five people in it. The one number is the only one that I am aware of.
Sure, here it is. Position your mailbox 41" to 45" from the road surface to the bottom of the mailbox or point of mail entry. Place your mailbox 6" to 8" back from the curb. If you do not have a raised curb, contact your local postmaster for guidance. Put your house or apartment number on the mailbox. If your mailbox is on a different street from your house or apartment, put your full street address on the box. If you are attaching the box to your house, make sure the postal carrier can reach it easily from your sidewalk, steps, or porch.
Hell no unless you file a complaint...then they call you!
Ask your mail man, but with the holidays I doubt they will be able to guarantee a time. Plus, this post office is the worst operated post office I have ever dealt with. Have you tried calling them? They never answer so dont waste your time.
You have to go in, they rarely answer. I got an answer only once in twelve years.
You can contact the postal inspector and you can go directly to your mail house and speak to the on site manager. I'm sorry this happened, it happened to me too.
I've tried calling for a couple weeks straight and could never get through and when i went in to talk to a manager they never came out to see me just left me waiting for almost two hours. I finally got pissed and left.
