I wouldn't recommend this facility to even a stray neighborhood dog...this facility is the pure definition of gross neglect and the more my family and I complain about the treatment of our loved one the worse their staff treat our loved one...we are working diligently to get our loved one removed from the facility...we hope we can do so before they kill our loved one due to neglect, terrible staff, and failure to pay attention to detail.

I really enjoyed my stay and my nursing staff and therapy team was awesome. I got to help bake a cake for activity team who were really nice. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I brought a family member there after lung cancer surgery for rehab. I found the entire staff to be gracious, generous, caring, and accommodating in every way. It was during COVID conditions, so visitors were not allowed in the room. However, I was able to participate in a meeting with the dietary unit standing outside the room with the dietary nurse speaking over cell phone. That is just one example of how willing the entire staff was to work with the patients and their caregivers to answer all questions and make all considerations. When I would have to leave a phone message, the response time from everyone there was very fast and always very informative. When my family member needed to be transferred to another facility for more appropriate care, the facility worked with our insurance to confirm coverage and made all the arrangements on our behalf. One of the managers even went so far as to purchase a book for my family member in hopes that it would bring her comfort and help to calm her during her recovery. This is just another example of how they always went above and beyond in caring for their patients. I do not believe our insurance would have normally covered treatment at this facility. We were only blessed with the opportunity to work with Life Care Center of Hickory Woods because of the COVID pandemic, and all surgery patients requiring rehab had to be accepted into any facility that had a bed available; however, we were never left to feel that we were receiving anything other than their very best treatment. I cannot say enough good things about Life Care Center of Hickory Woods, and should I ever find myself in need of another rehab facility, I will certainly go there FIRST! Thank you very much to all of the staff and management at Life Care Center of Hickory Woods!

My experience at Life Care Center of Hickory Woods was awesome!!!! To the staff of PT and OT thank you all, especially Sheila and Jamal, for getting me moving again.
