Walked in on Saturday afternoon and it was super fast and easy. The lady behind the counter was super nice and helpful.

Like that it’s open outside of the regular 9-5 hours so I can actually mail things before or after work! Inside and outside of the building is really neat, and it’s also clean. Expect decent lines around 9 am, noon, and 5 pm, but outside rush hours, I usually don’t need to wait in line at all.

Yes you can
All passport renewals are done by mail only. Post office only reviews and accept first time passport applications on behalf of US Department of passport.
You can go into usps.com or contact the station where you reside.
Passport office is open between 10:00am and 3:00pm Monday through Friday.
No appointment necessary at this location. You will need the application filled out in black ink only(ds-11), both parents present with primary photo id(passport/ Nys id) and a copy of each back and front, the children getting the passport will need to be present with their original birth certificates & copies. Along with passport fees check/money order only. Do not combine the passport fee for state dept and the passport acceptance fee for usps. If one parent can not be present there is a form that must be filled out (ds-3053parental consent form for the absentee parent or guardian) it must be notarized along with a front and back copy of absent parent id (same Identification that is shown to the notary) to be attached to passport application If only one parent is on the birthcertificate you only need the one parent to get a passport along with everything listed above. You do not need to fill out the ds- 3053 parental consent form for the absentee parent or guardian.
Yes, it looks like there is an option for passport photos at this location, appointment needed. It might cost an extra fee though, so might want to call and confirm!

No you do not need an appointment. You can just go with your passport application filled out and they even take pictures there. You can also get forms there. Remember renewals are usually done by mail...
The post office doesn't do renewals. They provide the renewal forms only. All passport renewals are done by mail. You fill out form send it in with a new picture, the expired passport and a check or money order...
You can pick up Monday - Friday from 9am - 5pm. Saturday from 9am - 1pm.
This postal branch doesn't have tax forms. I believe most post offices have stopped providing tax forms, but public libraries do. If you are in the city, check out the Public Library on 5th Avenue and 41st. Street. They have tax forms there.... hope that helped.
You must get your passport picture at some place like CVS or Walgreens. There is also an App for Passport Picture. Please Google Passport information at the US Travel website.
Yes in fact every post offers money orders 1.25 up to a $500 money order. Great price!
