I inquired about a robotics club/camp and someone from Sylvan Learning Center called me and said that they do have a robotics camp. She took down my son’s information (name, age, etc.) and said that the director would be calling me with information, as far as pricing and schedule. Two weeks went by and I finally sent a couple of emails explaining to them that they have not contacted me to let me know the price. I finally got a response back and they said they weren’t offering any robotics. What??? That’s not what I was told over the phone. I think Sylvan is a scam. They didn’t even sign their name in the email and they were not at all apologetic. Very unprofessional. I know a lot of parents looking for tutors right now, and I will not be recommending Sylvan to them.

My daughter is 14 and she never complains about going to Sylvan. Patricia and Stacy have been wonderful and my daughter has learned so much since she started! Best decision I ever made.

My daughter really struggled with confidence in reading and she has made remarkable improvements with Sylvan. She now is a confident reader and her first grade teacher has even reached out to tell us how proud she is of my daughter's improvements with reading confidently out loud in front of her whole class.

My 2nd grader did not know how to read in the beginning of the school year. After meeting with Stacy, she set up a program in which she told me how many hours he needed and what I would expect. We signed him up with Sylvan for 10 hours a week and he made a huge improvement over the past 5 months. Not only can he read at his grade level, but I’ve seen a new confidence in him that he never had. Sylvan has helped him become independent and gave him the confidence he was lacking in school.
