Don't go here if you have kids. Even though it's a des that's meant for families. The security and staff do not want kids there at that office. Been harassed twice and Bonnie doesn't do anything about it. I wonder why nobody goes to this des office. Security feels entitled to kick whoever out whenever and if someone's foot is out of a blue tape he starts be a commander.

Trying to get food stamps and medical assistance for my Ukrainian family members has been not only extremely difficult but impossible. Along every step of the way, we’ve constantly been given wrong information, the time to process/receive notices is incredibly long, and the lack of empathy is disheartening. Being in a situation in which you desperately need assistance is already difficult enough, but having to deal with the bureaucracy and incompetence of this office has made this entire process even more awful. How unfortunate.

I believe cash assistance is ment for single mothers, inorder to buy the "non food" stuff like diapers n baby formula. Unemployment is if u were let go, and it was not fault of your own. So if your work doesn't offer workman's comp, then maybe u qualify for a temporary disability. Unfortunately you can plan on spending all day on hold or at the office to find out for sure

The office is opened but I don't think for interviews. They just give u interview number and tell u to call it.
