Just witnessed at 10;05pm 3 units roll up on a man selling bracelets a street vendor just trying to make a living in front of Harkins writing this man a ticket for doing so… like really is there no other major crime going on at this very moment ? Sick I do not pay taxes for this … broke my heart

The front office is neatly-presented. I had called about an emergency once and the dispatch and arrival of the officer was faster than I expected. The officer made my sister and I feel safe upon his arrival. I'm glad to have had a positive interaction with the team here.

I had called yesterday because someone tried to open our front door our dog was barking pretty loud and that tells me someone was here, but I couldn't see no one by the windows so I call for help to send an officer to check my house and the neighborhood they told me they would send an officer to check. I was by the window for an hour and half and no one ever came thru, I was so disappointed to see how little they care for our safety with this actions how can we trust the police?

I've been here a couple times, the facilities are neat and organized, the employees (officers and non officers) are friendly, courteous, and easy to communicate with. It may be nerve racking to have to talk to the police especially if your here for an emergency, but trust that the Avondale PD will do their best to make you feel safe.
