Holiday Inn Austin Conference Center, an IHG Hotel

I made my reservation online directly through the Holiday Inn Website. Arriving at the hotel a little after 4 p.m. I found that there were several guests in front of me waiting to check in. The entire process took about 20-minutes but the attendants working the front desk were very professional and pleasant even though a couple of guests in front of me were not. This is a large hotel with several different buildings so pay attention to the front desk attendant when they tell you what building your room is in and where to park. After arriving in my room, I found it to be very clean and well attended. The bed was well made and very comfortable. The only issue was the remote for the tv didn’t work when we arrived. I had some spare batteries with me and changed them which corrected the issue. This hotel has a very large parking lot that is well lit. It shares the parking lot with other businesses. This Holiday Inn has an onsite restaurant and there are several other restaurants located nearby including a Perkin’s in the same parking lot. Over all I had an enjoyable and comfortable stay and would recommend this hotel.

Everything was pretty clean but the rooms are pretty dated. Well appointed and has a sports bar attached to the facility.

Booked this hotel with IHG using reward points and still got charged for the room upon leaving. Spoke with 4 different people who all said there wasn't anything they could do. What a joke. Will not be staying at any IHG hotels anymore. Also had a terrible night at this hotel with a group of drunk loud adults who were allowed to sit in the pool area right outside our room until 12:30 at night.

We had an awesome stay where we had Ashley, the general manager, and Joey in maintenance, help with a lock situation. They went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. Great staff, great hospitality, absolutely would stay there again!
