Jimmy and his team of Jose, Tevin and Nicholas did a great job replacing and installing multiple systems and additional duct returns. Also Sarah was great to work with on the sale and planning. Highly recommend Advent Air!

I want to foam my attic rafters but I don't have the 95% efficient furnaces. Is there a way to keep my older 80% efficient furnaces and still foam my rafters?

Roger Neisen | Oct 20, 2019

Thank you Roger for interest in Advent air Conditioning. There are ways to make a 80% furnace work on a foamed attic but morally and ethically it isn't the right thing to do because it puts you and your family at risk. On a foamed attic there's no way to bringng in fresh air or disposing of the harmful fumes and you take a risk of dumping poisonous gases into your home. 90% furnaces use fresh air from outside and exhaust poisonous gas out to the atmosphere not into the home. Advent does NOT recommend using a 80% furnace on an encapsulate home. We would be glad to help in anyway possible but we do things right 100% of the time or we just don't to it. Thank you again for your interest and we look forward to helping you in the future. Thank you, Tammi Douglas
