I really love going to Central Park due to all of the shade trees in the parking lot. If you have children, the jungle gym has partial shade also. It is a very lovely part too have lunch, enjoy nature and to walk. The best part of Central Park for me are the pecan trees, if you go at the right time of year you can stock up on pecans WOW...

Great place for children and picnics. The pavilion can be rented for parties. Lovely setting in the woods. Kids playgrounds as well along with tables to sit down and have your food.

Yes, it is nice but the trail that goes through the trees is absolutely swarming with mosquitoes so I highly suggest unless you are zooming through on a bike that you apply some kind of repellant.
The deposit is $50 with a rental fee also of $50. They also have 2 covered seating areas called "pavillions" and those are seperate. The deposit is $50 with a rental fee of $50 for each pavilion. To reserve call 972-219-3550.
There seems to be regulars who play soccer. You might be able to join up with them? There isn't a soccer field but the space is plenty large.
