U can go to the customer service area in the lowes and ask to apply for one.. once u apply I think it takes a couple days to get the card( that's only if your approved)

No just put it outside and either someone will pick it up or put it on Facebook marketplace and say free scrap somebody will pick it up or put it in your truck and instead of taking it to Lowe's go to a recycle center and they'll give you money for it all you have to do is push it off your truck

The Best thing you can do is call them to make sure they do what you want or if not maybe they can point you in the right direction.
