Steer clear if you have a CDL but you need more training. They'll only train you for no money. So for 3 weeks you're their slave. How do they think you pay bills? Tell all your friends stay away.

I want to give a Big Shout out to Tyricko made my whole School experience at ease when at times I was getting overwhelmed but always kept me motivated and to keep my eyes on the prize!!!

Hi Zee. Please call our recruiting department at 1-800- 333-8595 and we would be happy to help you get started.
Our drivers should be prepared to take both urine and hair follicle tests.
Its not free.. ok so u sign up for a contract that is in fact 3 years for pay off. U work for stevens for a yr and u decide to go to some where that has better pay. You will have a remaining balance. Heres the kicker about that you get reduced student loan fee where they cut it in half bc you work for them. They will cover the 100 a month on ur behalf. Even tho you have work for a yr and u quit. They will take back the reduce student loan. Also in your contract it states they have the right to not contact you about the balance.which then it goes to a debt collector and you also sign stating your ok with them sueing you for the amount in the state of texas. And the payment plan they have you set on changes when u quit. U have to pay off like 4k in full or u have to put 500 down and 295 a month or 395 a month for 8 months. I have the info from the student loan department to verify this. So be sure to read your contract fully before signing this companies recruiters will lie.
The first year its the most challenging year you have to learn all company rules and safety policy safety # 1 all time. One you learn how to driver like a champ you Will see your revenue inprove its realy up to you the more confident,Pro active youre more miles you Will gain.As New driver average is 40,000 -50,000 + depend how you drive
Get a class A at Stevens and drive for them for a year and since they're located in DFW then you kill two birds with one stone. You will be able to live out of your truck and save money until you leave Stevens. Great move if you don't have children or a woman to hold you back. FYI while you're on the road get all your endorsements and your passport so that when you leave Stevens you can get a local job paying you WAY more money. Stevens is a great training school, so go through with it and take my advice.
Urine
No we are in Texas
Yes
Personally I will drive for them for 1 year. Pay $3000 soon after I have started and my obligations are done. I do plan to go owner/operator though
You can open the gate from inside the secondary lot. You just need to get the code for it. They do that because the owner doesn't like seeing all the Bob tails just sitting on the yard.
Go to stevenstransport.com and navigate to Careers, then click on Drivers. Then click on Apply Now.
You must be 22 years old.
So is it yes or no?
Hi Charles. Stevens Transport has not gone out of business and has been in business for more than 40 years keeping America moving.
Hi David. Stevens Transport is not going out of business. We've been in business more than 40 years.
Great questions. We would be happy to answer this and any other questions you have if you would please call our recruiting department at 1-800- 333-8595.
Normally it is otr but they have other option as well just need to talk to recruiter about it.
No its a urine test
It depends what part of your training you in
They have ppl that do
Yes a refresher course also
Yes if you miss any questions on the tests you have to go back and re do the test but no you don't have to start the 6 weeks all over
Stevens apparently doesn't know this is going on. If they did they would stop it. Stevens is big on safety and it shows. Someone needs to let Stevens know what is going on at that school.
Stevens does ask for that if you have the past 3 years of w2 that will work I had to do the same be for I started working for stevens.. stevens transport is a great company
Not sure but give them a call to see what they can do.
No
Nobody likes to answer phones there. I work there and have a hard time getting someone to answer me.

Hi Bryan. We are very sorry to hear of this incident you experienced. Safety is our number one priority at Stevens Transport. Please call our office at 972-216-9000 and ask for Larry Gandy in our Safety Department or Jerri McGee.
The school we have is for you to get your class A license. You can come to the school with a standard operator's license as long as you have a clean record if I'm not mistaken. Feel free to call the recruiting department for any clarification.
Hi John. Please call our recruiting department at 1-800- 333-8595 and we would be happy to explain the process and help you get started.
Stevens Transport will help you get a CDL by providing the training, but if you're asking about an actual Drivers License, then no. You have to go and get that yourself
For a driver yes
You sign the contract when you in orientation 1.
I think it's 2 years. If you live in Texas you can go to our school in Dallas Houston
Hi Bryant. We would be happy to go over all your options if you would call our recruiting department at 1-800- 333-8595.
Automatics. All the trucks in Steven's Trucking School (as well as their company fleet) are automatics
I'm a new student..no experience..new cdl ..36 cents a mile..roughly 800 a week before taxes child support ect
They will give you a hotel room if you don't wanna drive everyday, and charge you for it later

I would get a Class A CDL first. Steven's charges you. There are companies that don't. Once you get your CDL, then pursue whatever driving opportunities you want. It is hard to know what you want until you have done a bit of driving.
I think it's like 6 or 7 am. Its early though if you're for CDL. Orientation and grad is like 8 am Former Steven's Transport Driver.
We would be happy to go over all your options if you would call our recruiting department at 1-800- 333-8595.
If you don't mind a "year contract" which takes 28 months to pay back
Thank you for your interest in Stevens Transport. We can assist you in getting your CDL. Please visit http://info.stevenstransport.com/drive4stevens-ub/, and we can help you with any questions you may have or call 800-333-8595 and speak with one of our recruiters. Like
Yes.
Fifth wheel and i cant drive a stick shift
Thank you for your inquiry about driving for Stevens Transport. We require our drivers to hold a US drivers licence for one year first.

Depends on what the convictions was. I would say be honest & up front about the convictions and make sure you are willing to do the work and leave you past behind you. You never know!!
No
We would be happy to go over all your options if you would call our recruiting departmetn at 1-800- 333-8595.

No.
No, you do not need any prior permit or training to work for Steven's. They will hire you if you do not have a CDL permit, just apply.
You don’t have to have a CDL to apply with Stevens Transport. We have CDL school partnerships all over the country.
We would be happy to answer all of your questions, John, if you would call our recruiting department at 1-800-333-8595.
9757 Military Pkwy. Dallas Enter the gate on Military and check in at security. They will point you in right direction to the orientation class once on site.
HI Liban. Are you looking for an in-house position or a quote for shipping? Your best bet is to call our main number at 972 216-9000. Thank you.
I went to school in Tampa if I want to move to New York permanently with my cdl I can work New York with my florida cdl
Hi there. We would be happy to go over our program with you if you would contact Josie Garza at [email protected]. Or, our recruiting team will be happy to answer your specific questions if you call 1-800-333-8595.
They will put you on the road. I believe when you start the school you're a employee at that time. You have to stay with them for a year to pay off the school fees. Great trucks and trailers. Hope you get with them.
I guess ole luvcakes can't enjoy 5 days off , can't figure that one out and Eric apparently don't drive trucks because there is far worse companies than Stevens
Hi Henry. New company drivers can earn between $1000-$1100 per week and Stevens Transport just announced a pay increase today--our biggest annual pay increase ever at 20% in 2018.
Hi Jamar. You can stay at home as long as you can get to the yard daily in time for class. If you have more questions, our recruiting department will be happy to speak with you and assist you. Please call 1-800- 333-8595.
Yes they will place you in a motel with another driver. The shuttle service is slow so get an early jump on your morning or you will be late for training.
They have 2 schools. One in Dallas and one in Colorado. The one you go to depends on where you live.
Yes.
Urine drug tests. I had mine done last December. Pretty sure they haven't changed it.
If you live close to Dallas they'll do the school there. Otherwise they'll send you to Keenseville Colorado. DON'T go there in winter!! And plan to share a room with other students while there.
Go to work whit another company.free advice
You need a car driving license. Then you can go to their school to get your CDL. Then work for them for 2 years to pay off the school. Once done, if you have a clean record, ANYONE will snap you up because Stevens Transport has one of the most safety intensive programs out there.
Not if you sign the contract, unless you don't mind being sued. Stevens is probably one of the best training schools out there. Roll for one year and don't get into any accidents. I suggest that you get your passport so you can get with Red Sandersen's Canada fleet so you can get those Canada miles. You don't want to get caught in the meat patch because there's a lot of waiting at Tyson and you don't get paid to wait, you're paid to roll. Do your year, and get THE HELL OUT! While you're rolling, study for your haz-mat, tanker, doubles and triples endorsements. Pass all those and get your FBI background checks by your 9th month. Those last 3 months polish up your resume and get on the tanker fleet at Stevens to get a little experience. After a year put your resume out and watch the job offers roll in. You can be making 80k after one year of Stevens BS if you play your cards right. I'm giving you my blueprint of how I made Stevens work for me.
You can make OK money there just don't join alliance when you get there just stay company. You make money that way. But depending on where you live you should have residency of where you live. I live in Colorado and went to school for them in Colorado so after u take your test you will just have to make sure your license is addressed to be sent to Dallas thats it.
No
Go to Stevens Transport. Com and fill out the app
They make you lost all your convictions when you sign up, and usually they say they won't turn people away. But its best to ask a recruiter. Because if you drove up to Canada and had jail time here, they say you can get arrested up there.
Home time is given at a rate of 1 day for every week out over the road, with a minimum of 3 weeks out before being allowed to go home. If you get a good relationship with your driver manager it can change slightly but not much.
No they are a different Stevens; Stevens Transportation based out of Texas.
Automatically saying all employees are garbage explains to everyone your response is not based on fact, but childish.
