If a phone number asks for a security code, that's usually "the answering-machine talking" at the number you're dialing --- i.e., it's a security-code that the caller (who would presumably be the machine's owner, since only he would know the code) would punch in on his phone's keypad, and causes the machine to play back over the phone any messages it has recorded during the owner's absence; this allows the home/business-owner to "call remotely" and see if he's gotten any messages. That number you mentioned just rings and rings when I dial it. Some websites with info for PRSWDD say that the number is actually four-eight-three-three-NINE-four-four, but this number just gets a "disconnected/not-in-service" recording, so apparently these listings are wrong.
