Unfortunately it is going to have to play it self out in court. Depending on the severity he should have a bail hearing. At the end of the day the Defenders Association have some decent attorneys that will fight for him. If they feel the evidence is too overwhelming to win the case they will work with the prosecutors to get the best deal they can. If it goes to trial they will assign an experienced lawyer to the case to ensure he gets adequate representation. The law is the law. It's not what you know it's what you can prove.
The defender office that handles the matter depends on where the crime happened.
There is no statur of limits on a warrejt
30 days before Thanksgiving
No you gotta wait for a hearing
I believe your two replies are correct. (Disclaimer: I am NOT an attorney.) It the officer had a legal reason to stop/interact with you, they may investigate further suspicions. And despite how socially decriminalized it has become in recent years, marijuana is generally still an illegal drug.
Yes you can get your record expunged. But
Go to the Probation Building on Arch St. Next to the Mc Donalds Broad & Arch as simple as that and ask
Yes only from my experience only at the beginning of the week
Anything is possible. Depends what the charges are and what his jacket looks like.
Everything gets done better with more precision in person. Go down and make personal visits Personal visits as in going down to whatever administration or building you need to go to
It also has an address on it. I had better luck going in person.
I believe only if you are convicted of a felony.
I dont believe they handle employment issues except if you were either arrested or assaulted at work....(circumstantial) Maybe you should file a grievance with your HR dept. and have it escalated. Also EEOC handles employment related matters... Check with them.
After 30 days it can not be expunge must act on it as soon as the case is thown out and yes a layer must help you with that, Call for more info
Only if the police have reasonable suspicion that uou were engaged in criminal activity. If not then you are free to leave. By the way, question him as he approaches which may help him slow down and understand without searching you.
Call them and tell them who it was and what he did for you. If he's still there he will probably be able to help you
I'm not sure what your asking here. The Dept. of Human Services handles act 151 - CAC's.
Not an attorney from the "Philadelphia" Defender Association.... Google some Montgomery county attorneys.
