Unfortunately it is going to have to play it self out in court. Depending on the severity he should have a bail hearing. At the end of the day the Defenders Association have some decent attorneys that will fight for him. If they feel the evidence is too overwhelming to win the case they will work with the prosecutors to get the best deal they can. If it goes to trial they will assign an experienced lawyer to the case to ensure he gets adequate representation. The law is the law. It's not what you know it's what you can prove.
My son is CFCF and was supposed to have had a hearing on dec. 14, 2020. He has not heard from the lawyer assigned to him as of yet. He's unable to call for himself. He'd like to know if he has a court date coming up soon? His name is Mackenzie Bell 914974
