Roger was my layer for a divorce. I was very satisfied. I don't think anyone "wins" a divorce but I was satisfied with the end result. It was better than I expected was going to happen. As further evidence, the opposing side was not happy with the outcome. I have ot assume Roger made a better argument and was better prepared. He was very fair on the billing. I never felt like I was being overcharged. He quickly responded to all correspondence. I would recommend him!!

This guy is good! Never had to leave a voice mail because he always answered. He won me an order of protection hearing from a vindictive ex-girlfriend. Thanks to Roger I got to spend Christmas with my son.

Is everything split equally in a divorce?

The Law Offices of Roger W. Stelk | Oct 18, 2020

In Illinois, property is divided equitably instead of equally in divorce. This means that distribution of the marital assets will be determined based on the length of the marriage, the value of the assets, custody provisions, and the current income as well as the potential earning power of both parties.
