This place is terrible and very unprofessional. The staff just sits around talking all day. My grandad was unable to feed him self and the staff wouldn’t help. Me and my family would have to feed him when we visited. He also fell out the bed and they don’t how. DO NOT send your loved here this place needs to be closed.

This place is absolutely the worst care facility I've ever seen. The staff doesn't gaf about the residents. Medications are always late or not given at all. My father in law sat for hours after asking for help to use the bathroom, he couldn't walk! It should be closed, sued, or both!!!!! Unbelievable how lazy the nurses are here. STAY AWAY!!!!!

This is the worst nursing home I ever been in they is so unprofessional, they don’t give two cares about the residents or there well beings they leave the patients with wet diapers on they don’t change them how they should there under staff and if your mother, father, or family is in there you must take them out cause instead of them taking care of them there letting them rotten in bed if there not bed bound they will be after messing with symphony employees my grandmother was in here and the care she got us unbelievable please before you send your family members please do your research this is not the best nursing home it’s actually the worst they only care about them selves and get money to keep that raggedy place open. Bathrooms have mold in it Walls is falling off Baseboards coming off Beds is nasty

We brought my grandmother here for her knee surgery recovery and rehab and this place is nothing like the 5 star reviews makes it out to be. After visiting her, we found out about how she was mistreated by her caretakers. They refused to accommodate for her, not providing someone who spoke Spanish, not allowing her to use the bathroom when she asked, and leaving her unattended when she had to use the bathroom. The toilet was leaking from the bathroom upstairs into her bathroom, the walls were falling apart and covered in mold, and her toilet wouldn’t even flush. We made the mistake of not visiting the place before making a decision.

I'm new
I was there a few months and they asked me to wait about three days before I could go out. I think it all depends on your doctor.
They are Always under staffed and the 4th floor sedate and leave my sister and others in bed All day on the dementia floor . She she grossly Underweight ,Malnourished And Dehydrated because of neglect- Even when she is sitting in a chair😞🙏I Pray that the Bill that passed in Springfield-Which I went to Springfield to support, will make these Owners Train and hire people who Care about the Seniors and disabled Instead of Just Money🙏
I think it'd be a good idea. I believe that SEIU is the union for Illinois healthcare workers. I don't know how practical it would be as far as travel is concerned for a lot of CNA's. Also, how would a facility handle call-offs? In the end, it helps when the administrator has a strong hand and can implement good practices within the facility.
Food is bad taste like from old cans, and most of the people don't care, especially the nurse in charge, we had a really bad experience in that place, HORRIBLE!!!!
