We had a blast! There are definitely hundreds of animals to experience. Buy extra feed and throw it slowly so you have some left for the animals at the end. Be prepared, the animals aren't shy and will crowd your vehicle. If your not paying attention you could loose your food bucket to an ostrich or camel fairly easily. Definitely go inside the gift shop for some lettuce for the giraffes and peanuts for the monkeys. Again, one cup wont be enough. I could have fed the giraffes all day! The aviary was fun and the birds are beautiful. I even got a parrot or two to say hello! The reptile exhibit was large too. I have never been so close to so many venomous snakes and the pythons were HUGE! Cant say enough about this place. Next time we will go on a guided tour. I hear those are fantastic.

This was such an amazing experience! Definitely something we will be doing again this summer!!! Highly recommend! The only thing I would encourage is to buy more than the number of people in your group of buckets of feed but regardless this trip was wonderful

Came for my son's birthday on Sunday 30th. Had a blast with my family. The kiddos all loved it. We got a private tour by one of the brother's, he was very kind & funny & informative. Highly recommend the tours so you can learn about the animals. 🙂 My son loved it, he feed & touch every animal. 💙 Kids want to come back again.

One of the best places we've been at! The animals are very well taken care of, they come to your car the monkeys interact with you. The employees are wonderful. The gift shop is really cool to! This is better than the Zoo and the pricing is well worth it! Will come here many more times. I

Morning is the best time to go because the animals are ready to eat and they'll come straight up to your truck. My grandchildren really enjoyed it. There is an area that has reptiles in it and an area that have babies animals I definitely want to go back with my other daughter
I pinky promise that you won't want to eat there. There's a party area outside in the front with tables. Not sure if they'll let people eat there who aren't party guests though. There literally peacocks and other random animals walking under and around the tables though.
It is a drive thru safari therefore all family members are to remain in their vehicles at all times. At the end of the drive thru safari, you are able to park and go inside the gift shop and even feed the giraffes 🦒. I would obviously recommend an adult present with all small children at all times. 😃
This depends on the amount of rain they receive. If you are planning on visiting soon I would suggest calling to make sure they are still open. Hope this is helpful.
They did ask us to not hand feed, just toss food out the window. Also they said to either keep windows up or keep them down.
Not sure you would have to call
What about it? Is there a question... The stuff continues
There is also an area for petting animals. You can feed the giraffe as well.
$10-$15 per person and a bucket of feed from $5-$7 one bucket of feed is more than enough if you portion it out right. You can also bring your own feed.
Those animals are used to way hotter temperatures than we are lol plus they have plenty of water and shade trees. They're always out
There is also hotels in Franklin right down the street a few miles.
I called for the 23rd of December. They said they are only closed Christmas and Thanksgiving(I am pretty sure is the 2nd one).
This was so much fun if you are an animal lover. We are Adults with no children and we enjoyed it tremendously
Yes and no, you have to drive the main part but there are walk through areas. They have a reptile, monkey and bird area. Also, animals can get close to cars and the have hooves and horns so bring an older car you don't mind getting a scratch on.
IDK that. Google it.
They do sell cups as well for $2 but if you can get bigger, I would do that. My son dropped his cup at the begging and wished I had bought more!
I think the little ones don't pay, but the 6 year old does
Yes but its really worth it. I thought it wouldnt be.
Yes you can!! As long as they stay in the bed of the truck and don't get out during the drive.
Yes, they close at 5:00 pm
At the gate
They have picnic tables, but food wise, they only sell bottled drinks, and snacks like candy bars and chips.
They should be. They are pretty much open every day, but I would still call and ask.
You can also feed giraffes and buy feed bags to feed the animals on the safari
They may close some areas due to rain and mud. I personally would not go on a rainy day or if it has rained a few days prior.
$15 per person, age 2 and above..they take cards
They are privately owned so the money they make from selling animal food helps them.
Worst case, I do believe you can pay a little additional to have a 'guide' take you in a off road vehicle similar to a polaris razor or mule. You'll have a great day there. Just FYI, you can't beat the petting room, it was awesome! Time goes quick though.
We did the 4 person all access at $144.00. Felt better than pay as you go, saved money and could go anywhere including feeding the. Girafe
No paved sidewalk but mostly crushed dirt that a wheelchair should be able to be guided through without too much struggle.
Yes they will come to a diesel, that's what our vehical is... I don't think they care as long as they get fed, lol....but the answer is yes they will.
I am not sure you need to give yourself at least 2+hours just so you can have time to feed all the animals and interact with them they will come up to your car and I'll you pet them feed them take pictures some will follow your car to get more food just a fun activity for the whole famiy
Through your question i came to know the names of these lovely creatures. Yes i too would love to know the answer.
Yes
You might need go call in advance according to the date of your visit im aware at one point they start putting animals up once it starts changing climate.
15 a person and 5 for feed bucket
