Morning is the best time to go because the animals are ready to eat and they'll come straight up to your truck. My grandchildren really enjoyed it. There is an area that has reptiles in it and an area that have babies animals I definitely want to go back with my other daughter
There's a sign that says NO PETS. I wouldn't risk bringing your dog and potentially being denied entry to the park
Morning hours before noon are good...you can stop by anytime though...takes about 2 hours complete tour.
All of the animals there, are available to see during normal business hours. There were various types of cattle, safari animals (excluding large cats). Also, various types of goats, deer and even a few types of primates. There is a reptile house and a pen with some otters in it, right next to each other. You must stay inside yoir vehicle in the safari area. You can feed the animals in the safari area, by rolling down your window and dumping some of the approved food pellets out for them. If you bring a dog, make sure it is contained and cannot jump put of your window. It will probably ruin the experience though, because a dog would go berserk is an emu or zebra or watusi even attempted to stuck its head into your vehicle. Also, the park is not responsible for damages to your vehicle, should your dog anger or scare an animal that proceeds to ram your vehicle or attack.
