This library has saved my behind So Many Times. So Many. If you don't have an attorney & want to find out about the law for absolutely anything this is the place to go for your answers. The people who work there are So Friendly & helpful. They will help you find anything you want. They have computers, copying machines & any information on every law & consequences of actions you can think of. This is the place to go to find out the truth of a matter & not having to rely on anyone telling you about what they heard somewhere or their friend told them. Go here & find out the truth in less then an hour. Oh yea, they are closed on Friday's. Good luck. Please excuse me. This review is for the Nv State law library on 3rd st. Just east 1 block from the courthouse. That being said the civil law help center is extremely helpful as well. They have all of the forms for just about everything. They will explain your options & direct you what to do next. Very nice & helpful people.

I talked to an atty and he told me exactly where to look for the forms I needed.

They have someone at the front desk who’s like a mind reader and every form for anything you need to do while you’re at the court house. If anything is confusing or difficult just let them know. They are really fantastic and kudos to the court for having the office right next to the Justice Court point of entry.

30 days
Civil division
It took about 48 hours to get the email with the info. You can look on the website . They post it for you to find. Not a landlord tenant case. But good luck with the whole system. Not a good time to be a tenet or landlord.
I believe Nevada law states you need a 5 day pay or quit/ unlawful detainer notice for week to week. Monthly would require a 30 day notice followed by the 5 day. You can look up the Nevada NRS codes it tells you exactly what needs to be done.
I'm sure they can help you but if not then they will tell you where to get help! Call them in the morning just as they are opening.
Best thing to do is have the place tested as well as yourself ,, once it comes back positive, got file for code enforcement and send your landlord or person a notice saying just what you said be sure to add the words NOTICE ,, mold of any kind isn't safe and sound be dealt with professional, not just clean with bleach and New paint... We take care of mold and much more terrakleen.wordpress.com
You can ask that directly at the self help desk ,, as there are many forms that can be filed, some free, some waived, of course some have cost fees
I'm not sure but if it goes to a judge he'll probably issue a bench warrant for your arrest.
When a individual has been selected for domestic voilence acts
I like tonknow thee answer❗
You can go to the Self Help center to file the proper motion documents. They have all the forms needed and can answer questions, but cannot give legal advice.
7 days do not include the weekend. Period. The tenant has time to file an answer. If the tenant has no answer, at the end of the 7th day, the 24hr notice can be served. But, once a tenant files an answer, you both have to wait on a response from the judge. Either via email or U.S. mail. At that time, if the judge says the tenant must leave, then the 24hr notification should be issued.
Contact civil law center , on Lewis Ave next to justice court for expert advice.
You have to go down there and they will assist you. They are very helpful
Not much, especially if she's still at least semi occupying the place. Failing to secure your property is only an invitation to a thief in theory. The thief is still responsible to have and display a moral compass.
I would suggest you go to the legal help at the Justice department and file before they do, the answer is yes unless you know the proper nrs codes in that case would be possible no, if they have a strong arm they will use that and will be able to all the things you listed and more
Too vague a question. Your tenant rights will depend on the facts in your case.
I think it's 7-10 business days to respond but you maybe can call them?
I'm not understanding the question. I can only answer questions that are part of the eviction process, I don't know about anything else.
You need to talk to a lawyer
From my experience being the tenant, the Landlord, always served it after the 5th day close of business day. Except if the 5th fell on a holiday, then I would get it the next business day. Now since you are the Landlord then maybe you should go down to the Justice Court and go to the Civil Law help desk.
Yes. Does she have insurance? Let the insurance handle it.
Thx but I told them about the last complaints before with the electricity but I don't have any paper I can go with any attorney ? Sorry too many
