Questions & Answers

Do you rescue raccoons that live under a shed in a neighborhood? They are going to be trapped and killed. Also, what do you charge?

They typically do catch and soft releases with racoons. I would text the owner a picture and she will get back to you either way. No charge- it's donation based. She can show you how much it costs them to rescue the animal(s).

Found baby dove in my front yard. Can't find the nest to put it in. Can you please take this baby so has better chance on survival. Been trying to feed it for 2 days now but don't think it's getting enough

When we took a bird there, they said they weren't taking anymore animals at this point. Could call vets and animal shelters and see if they will take it. Wildlife sanctuary will take them too.

Hi, A Duck hatching in my back yard and Cayote attacked it, can u help the nesting eggs?

You should call second chance wildlife...is the duck wild? Maybe put up some type of fence around the nest ducks can fly over but coyote will be less tempted to go for it.

We have a local squirrel that comes to us for snacks we found it today by our door. I'm pretty sure his rear leg is broken. Is this something you are equipped to handle?

You need to contact the owner directly. Phone number is posted.

Do you take in racoons who have been rescued and raised indoors with humans and other pets? We need to find a home for our pet raccoon and don't want him to be euthanized. We gave him a chance at life but now we can no longer keep him. Born 4/1/2019

Why can't you keep him? Why did you take him in and keep him in the first place? Wild Again releases the raccoons back into the wild after they are in good health in the same area they were rescued or as a soft release. You need to contact them directly but I would suggest not taking in anymore if you are trying to domesticate them.
