Disappointing. Drove 3 hrs after checking both the website and calling to hear their outgoing message confirm they're open. Arrive to find no signs pointing to their parking around the corner and down a bit. There is a sign on the door stating closed today, reopen tomorrow. You can take the time to write a note and tape it to the door but not update your outgoing phone message or website. There were 2 other couples wandering the ground wandering why the closure as well...

Very enjoyable. Learned a couple new historical facts and much about the services given by the entire family. Impressive. Well worth the time.

Free. Partly self guided. MOSTLY period correct, meaning NOT original. Only a few original items. MOSTLY NOT set up as the home. But did learn a few things.

I think that our bed and breakfast in Madison, IN has paintings on the walls that were done by the same artist who painted the foyer of the Taft House. Are there any pictures on line that I could look at to make a comparison? Do you have any inform
