I''m giving this store 1 star because Google would not accept my review without at least 1 star highlighted. I am thoroughly upset with the way this store handled the pick up of my order. I placed my order online at LaneBryant.com and took advantage of having the order delivered to the store for pick-up. As the consumer, once notified that my order was ready for pick-up (shipped in multiple packages as indicated by the multiple "shipped" emails prior to getting the "ready for pickup" email), I went to the store for pickup. The associate/manager, Jamaica Hill, had difficulty obtaining all of my packages and there seemed to be no indication that my order had shipped in multiple packages, even though I received emails on my end of such. Why this isn't communicated to the store is beyond me, or is it? My order contained 5 items. There were only 3 located. The last package was never able to be found. Jamaica Hill indicated that she checked every place she had available to her and could not find my last package. She called customer service, who verified the package had been received by the store, but issued me a refund because the store could not find the package. Initially, I thought, "things happen" and I was taking in all of Jamaica Hill's excuses as to how this could happen. She was clueless, but continued to offer excuses in an attempt to increase my understanding. Having a history in retail, the situation did not sit well with me. I left the store, (after returning an additional item from the order, just because I really didn't need it and why keep it when what I really wanted could not be found) and called customer service. I explained the situation and the representative was very apologetic and tried all she could to replace the order for me. I ultimately did not have the order replaced because I was so upset after learning that the person at the Rookwood Commons Store who signed for my package (the lost one) was none other than Jamaica Hill. This store has a problem with efficiency and the only people to pay the price are consumers. That's not acceptable. Of the excuses given by Jamaica Hill was it may have been given to another customer. WHY???? Where are the checks and balances? From the other reviews, it sounds like customer service is an issue at this store as well, so whether in person or online...shop and use this store at your own risk!! Very disappointing experience!!!
