Stay far far away from this place. Your loved ones will receive no care. The other 1 star post are very accurate

THE WORST PLACE. Should have no stars. AMY & most the management should be fired since they DO NOT KNOW HOW TO DO THEIR JOB. Unprofessional, irresponsible and down right rude people. They do not report falls like they are supposed to. Over medicated several residents & do not document or notify the family. Agency nurses, not ever the same staff. Don't bring your loved ones here, they will not be safe or happy.

I worked at Brookwood for about 2 years through an agency I personally believe it was the best place I've ever worked because it is clean, well managed and all of the staff really show they care about residents and each other. I wish i could give this place a 10 because it deserves it. I hope one day I will return!

I was there last year 2/18/21 for about 3 weeks. I had my food brought to me and put on my bed, instead of my table. I could not walk to get it. I had aides get rude and hateful with me. I was given ice cubes in a urine container.(was said to be new, but how was I to know). One aide was so mad she had to change my diaper (during 1st day there) that she pushed on my injured leg and brought tears to my eyes. I asked one aide if breakfast had been delivered (making sure I didn't get passed up) she very rudely told me when I seen her bring it in that I would know. They did not want you to turn your call light on. And would take an extremely long time to answer it. Was denied pain medicine for 24 hours. Finally, Beverly I believe was her name got to the bottom of it and brought my medicine. The whole experience had me upset. My mother was in this place several times and was not treated this way. I told everyone that they should go there for rehabilitation. My aunt and uncle was in there 5 years ago and loved it. My uncle is back in there right now, they can't believe how much it has changed. One day for lunch he received 1 plain hamburger and a carton of milk. That was it. I told them they should have told someone but they were to nice. The therapist seemed nice but then realized they just like to carry tales. The head therapist has an attitude problem. Stacey is the only one who hasn't changed. I think about my stay often.....still upset the way I was treated. My aunt has told me that should would not go back, nor send my uncle back there. It's ashame cause the facility is very close to where we live.

Yes. They have a bistro dining service for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Families are more than welcome to dine with their loved ones. They also have a bar room for private parties
No
There are buffets only on special occasions and celebrations. Regularly, residents can pick items from a menu and waiters will send the orders to the kitchen to be made. Meals can also be delivered to rooms in certain circumstances where the resident cannot leave the room for a while.
Yes they do. It is open 10 am - 3 pm with a half hour for lunch Monday - Friday.
