Very bad service

Okay...okay, that was a glimpse of purgatory. Bus was supposed to leave at 10:30 pm, we finally got on one at midnight. Between times A and B we asked someone for any kind of update on our schedule, and the reply - verbatim - "I don't know what to tell you, I'm waiting for my Uber to go home." If you're reading this review, and probably most of the other ones- believe them. Do everything within your power to avoid coming through here. Unless you're a biology major because what you find in the restrooms may very well win you the Nobel Prize.

Very disorganized, no security! Strange, dirty place!

Go to the greyhound website...tickets are cheaper online
I paid $30 for a ticket from Chicago to Grand Rapids i think its about the same if your goong to Benton harbor or that area. To go back to Chicago its $30 as well.
There are taxis. You will not wait for a taxi. You can call for a Lift or Uber and they don't take too long. They are more reasonable. There is also public transportation if you are going to the city. Either the Harrison bus, or the blue line 'L' train. You might need exact change for the bus, you can buy a ventra card at the train station, or you can get the ventra app.
How much does a ticket from chicaho to. mc allen tx
Yes the grey hound bus station is open 24 hours but the best way to get a ticket is on line
No. You need take the Train to Midway or Ohare...Uber, Lyft, or a 🚖 Cab.
I don't understand Spanish
Always check online for Online e-deals First; then, call to be sure. Where they travel; tickets can be purchased.
Not quite sure but if you look up the nearest major city I'm sure you could work it out.
I don't know, online it's cheaper, if you buy in advance, also it will be cheaper
With the exception of certified service dogs, animals of any species are not permitted on any grayhound buses.
Small 5dollards 2hours and big 10dollards 2hours
There's no parking for the public. You would have to put on your hazard lights. All parking in front of the bus station are taxi pick up and drop off
You can't take a cat on Greyhound Ada fits in a little personal carrier
And it is. Costs $ 18 to $ 31. Takes about 4 1/2 hours. Yes, it's Madison. Cost winds money. Four hours time
The Mega Bus stop is not the Greyhound station. It is two blocks south and east.
https://www.greyhound.com/en/
There is no parking lot, but there is street parking available
There's a $20 change fee, no refund unless you purchased a refundable ticket
Yes, Union Station is only a short walk. Exiting the main entrance you would want to go east on Harrison for one block and then turn North onto Clinton. Walk four blocks north to Jackson and that is Union Station on the east Corner of Clinton and Jackson.
People come and go. So it's hard to answer that unless you're familiar with the person. Hopefully cellphones help for the future. And Hopefully he boarded.
You can select your desired travel date and destination on the Greyhound website or on the Greyhound app and it will tell you exactly how much your trip will be, including taxes and fees. The earlier it is booked the cheaper tends to be.
Yes
Around 200. A little cheaper to buy tickets online
Goggle it greyhound bus tickets
Well, if you aren't a Chicago resident, I recommend the HI Chicago. It would definitely be the cheapest in downtown closest to the Greyhound. If you want free, Pacific Garden Mission homeless shelter is about a 10 minute walk south on Canal st. Other than that everything else is high dollar because this Bus Station is in the heart of downtown Chicago.
No trust me u save more money online vs inside just keep in mind..the closer to the date and time of your trip...it goes up...so try and get yo ticket in advance
You can park directly in front of the main entrance. No charge. Harrison St.
Only if you pick that option while buying the ticket online..otherwise it's just an e ticket.. Greyhound buses, you can use a e ticket.. But the Miller buses you have to have a ticket..
Yes you can..the last time I did
Look online
Yes.
Yes. Running on the normal schedule of all greyhound station times.
Yes you can but if you don't want to wait so long it best you go a hour early
I not sure but when you first come in i think they got machines that will help you
Calling is the best way to find out schedules. Online you'll get the best price
It is Easy go greyhound website put in city from to other city then hit enter it will tell you what Times and prices of different days Time frame
Yes everyday
Yes 24 hour security inside and outside. They dont play around either. Great staff never had an issue.
There's no lockers you would have to keep your belongings with at all times
If you're leaving it with customer service, good luck. Most won't do it. Best bet is to use cash app, anything else you're rolling the dice
CTA bus stop is across the street on the east side of the station. CTA train 🚉 is half block east half block north on Clinton. Taxis are parked outside 24/7
Yes ....There are Ubers, Cabs, Taxis Everywhere! 24 /7
In front of the building. Main entrance. And paid side street parking.
Springfield is not really a large city, so it shouldn't be that far
You can find the specific station number on google and ask them what buss it's on
Talk to customer service, explain to them where you came from, so they know what bus you were riding. They should be able to help you from there.
Im not sure but u might have to pay 15 dollars for the 3rd bag. I think u get to bring 1 carry on bag and the other bag goes under the bus and if u go over 100 pounds u will have to pay 15 dollars. Again i am not sure so u might need to google greyhound and look online or call customer service.
You can park and wait in front of main entrance. They don't hassle anyone. There is paid side street parking.
Just street parking, metered depending on where you park.
Temporary storage is available. You can go to the customer service area, and they will have you go to a certain area and the customer service people will page someone to meet you over there. They have someone there from like 8am until 10pm. I am not exactly sure of the hours, but YES it is available. I travel frequently.
No, the closest is PLS at Roosevelt and Jefferson
No Train, cab or uber
Call m
About a 40 minute walk. Or you could take the L.
Blue line Clinton exit.
I was dropped off by taxi so I'm not sure. I doubt it though. I believe it's meters
No, they don't have any but you can ask the service desk and they may hold them if you have a ticket. They will only hold them for 24 hours tho.
Don't read Spanish. Sorry
Carry-ons are free
I didn't recognize any at this particular Greyhound bus station. I myself wouldn't even trust putting anything in their lockers if they did have lockers. Too many solicitors and scammers coming in and out bus station area. Sorry!
No. They were removed.
Check online and call them for verification.
Check online for cheaper tickets; also, booking weeks in advance reduces the pricing.
This is a 24/7 location. Package shipping is 8am to 11pm M-F and 9am to 4pm Sun & Sat
Take the red line train to Jackson. Then get on the blue line train for O'Hare.
You can drop the passenger off and drive away. No street parking.
no, it's a small station. has a hamburger
I work for greyhound
Of course you can. They sell tickets here too.
Are you the greyhound in Chicago
Try Greyhound.com prices will probably vary based on when you are leaving and if it's a round trip. When I put a generic date in it was around $30.
Michigan sure, Morthville not confirm
Not really, it's a microwave where they serve food...so it's kinda monitored
I'm not really sure what city the bus stops in, but they do have buses that go to Mississippi
I hope they change their personal or provide them profecinal respectful customer service training.
Yes... Across the street from Greyhound in front only you have to stay in your car to wait for arrivals to come out and meet you for their ride. There's parking meters on the east side of Greyhound. No parking lots for Greyhound.
I had to move it myself
No but there storage for lost & found
It been two weeks since I've been there. Chicago to Nashville was my bus ride 2 weeks ago.
Damn you're stupid😂😂😂
You choose when to leave based when you need to arrive. The schedules vary based on where they make stops, so you could be lucky and get a straight shot, or unlucky and have multiple stops, layovers, and bus changes. A trip I took recently was supposed to take about 10 hours, but a driver laying out postponing my departure necessitated rerouting me, making it take 22 hours. And their stations, aside from Chicago, all are disgusting, and are in the worst neighborhoods. If you can find another way, I highly suggest you do.
There's plenty of cheap hotels and motels within 20 min walk or less of the station. Best to Google options.
Just the confirmation number will suffice.
No you need the confirmation number. Unless you get someone super nice...u must have an i.d.
Is it safe for those of us who don't have paperwork ???
Never been to Plainfield Illinois but at most Greyhound bus station there are taxi services, city bus services on the outside of the bus station that you can catch to go anywhere you want to in that particular area. Uber is there as well and Lift..
Michigan and Washington Street Canal Street and Van Buren

Yes, I think so. The train platform is equally to train step and the senior is getting the priority everywhere
Depends on date, time and how you order and pay for it. Easy to look at options and prices online
About 3 hours. I usually leave Chicago at 5:40 and get to Kalamazoo, MI at 9:25 (don't forget time change).
