There are taxis. You will not wait for a taxi. You can call for a Lift or Uber and they don't take too long. They are more reasonable. There is also public transportation if you are going to the city. Either the Harrison bus, or the blue line 'L' train. You might need exact change for the bus, you can buy a ventra card at the train station, or you can get the ventra app.

Yeah, sometimes there are taxi's, but I didn't see any when we were dropping off my husband. The only taxicab was the one that drove us there. We asked him to please wait for us. So he did. But, he later on told us that a couple of people came up to him, to ask him if he was for hire. That was a week night about 6pm.
