Beautiful moss paths through the woods. Mostly very easy walk with some inclines. Well marked trails.

Check the Natural Lands website for upcoming events! Solo Female Hikers and Adventurers (Facebook) leads some small workshops in the preserve as well. As for the rest... I could write a book. It's one of the most beautiful, best maintained natural areas in the Poconos, and very dear to my heart. I especially love winter hiking here, but it's gorgeous all year 'round.

Hi, Marlene. Here is a trail map for Bear Creek Preserve (https://natlands.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/BearCreekBrochMap-2018-02-website.pdf) that has waterfalls noted on it. Buttermilk Falls is the largest waterfall. The trails are rocky and challenging, and aren't suitable for all hikers. Please also note the preserve is closed on Mondays. Thank you.

The large waterfall (I believe they call it buttermilk falls) is located on white Haven road about a half mile from 115. There is a pulloff on the side of the road, on the left hand side if traveling South.
