Every 1st of the month, or the next business day after the 1st of every month come early (7-8am) and get in line. Bring your bill it has to be on paper
Bring ID for yourself & everyone in the house, proof of income, & proof of residency. You can speak with a caseworker.
Call them to see what they do
Who exactly are you trying to get ahold to if it's emergency services you have to listen to the prompts and follow those.
You need to put in a application for Operation Holiday. That is through Interfaith Ministries.
Yes They would get to the neediest the quickest if donated to the organization I mentioned earlier.
If you mean sleeping mats yes. A better place to donated items like that is the United Methodist Open Door located at 402 E 2nd St N. This is a homeless day shelter and donations like that mean the difference for some of sleep ing on the concrete or ground and keeping dryer when it rains.
They can help you in getting you documentation such as your birth certificate, driver's license etc... As well as help with bus passes and sometimes with bills, they can help you get signed up for leap... And can provide you with food assistance as well.... Hope I've been if some help....
Call the Salvation Army to get the location you need to go to, then just walk in & tell them why your there. Be sure to take ID's & proof of income for all on the household.
Yes they distribute coats to those in need.
