You can do it either way you wish
For weather circumstances and such they will give you a voucher to come back again free of charge for however many were in your party. I'm not sure if they refund as well. The night that we went it was too windy and cloudy to see anything. The telescope was not able to be used due to the wind. They did give us the voucher to come back. They also answered all questions and showed us around etc.
Yes there is.
Yes they're doing reservations because of covid-19. You go online to their website. It costs about $8 and you can pay for it all on the website and I think it's about 1 week to 2 weeks out is when you make your reservations
The website makes it easy and the people are great, very helpful.
The observatory is closed due to the virus. However it's nice and dark and a good place to look. Better get up there soon. The comet is dimming quickly.
It depends on whether you're coming as an individual or bringing children with you. Family rates are a better value. $8 adults & teens/$4 youth/$0 small children/$20 family. Bring cash. They do have a square reader, but I recall a very small transaction fee. It's so worth it, though!
