This park is located downtown Riverside in the heart of the city with buildings all around you. You get the feeling of being in central park in New York city almost. This park is very clean and well kept. I was very impressed with the city's ability to keep the park both user friendly and keep the homeless out. There is no trash or graffiti and it has easy access in and out and plenty of nearby parking. This is a great location for events. Great job City of Riverside. A+

This park is nice. It's fenced in and is closed up nightly and they open it up almost daily and it could be any time of the day that they do open it up, or they may not open it up at all someday for reasons unknown to me. There is a large gazebo in the center and a huge fountain at the entrance of the park. There is no playground, so it's not very kid friendly. There are a few homeless (apparently) here and there but they appear to be harmless. At least I've never had any issues with them. There is plenty of shade but only a few benches so you may want to bring your folding chairs and/or a blanket and enjoy the plush grass. Oh and I do not think they have a bathroom. The backside of the Dale Senior Center is in the park and there are doors that I thought opened up to a bathroom but they are always locked. Also, there is a Cactus garden off to the south side of the park, that is not fenced off. So most definitely have to be careful with small children and pets.

So I've been to this park on more than one occasion, this time for the Riverside tamale festival. Great entertainment, bands, wrestling, dancing, beer garden and of course, tamale's. Unfortunately there just wasn't enough food vendor's. We waited in line almost 2 hours for a quesadilla, the tamale line was out of the question. Great day though.

It's pretty, I go there for the Pokemon Go pokestops.

I used to take my son there in the 90s it was a nice peaceful Park we're older people hung out now it seems to be closed all the time and they gated it off, the homeless hang out on the outside of the gate not in the park I don't think they let anyone in the park unless it's the taco or tamale festival
There are plenty of squirrels roaming freely so i don't see why they wouldn't let you take your animal as long as its on a leash.
Some street parking is free and some is park and pay. I dont believe there is parking onsite.

Depends.. If you want to have it outside via a tent or canopy. The facility does not have a location like a reception hall.
I dont know.. Check the City of Riverside webpage
Not sure as they haven't posted anything. But it's still raining...so maybe it will be cancelled
