This park has had trouble in the past but it is a great park with plenty of baseball fields it also has room for soccer practice it also has two playgrounds and plenty of parking, they are currently extending their walking path in the park the only down fall they have bathrooms in three locations in the park they only open one and they lock it way to early sometimes before sunset

We were there for the 4th of July fireworks it works 2022.. The fireworks were wonderful we're wonderful. Very well done. The park was well patrolled for the event. The only criticism check the restrooms more often and make sure that they have toilet paper.. Although parking was a pain it's a pain everything else was very well marked.

Clean and well manicured grass, lots of space but few tables - bring a chair, several play areas for the kids and plenty of ball fields. Parking areas can fill quickly so arrive early. They have also restricted access to the homeless who would hang around and smoke meth under the trees in front of the kids and whoever else. Thank You La Sierra Park.

Has good a good playground besides having a homeless tent under it. It's a Saturday afternoon noon so I feel like it's not uncommon for kids to come to play at this time. Nothing against homeless people but by this time I think they should have moved on so kids can play.

I don't know what day you posted, so I can't tell what event was there, but on Wednesday's at 6:00 p.m. and Sunday's at 10 a.m., there is a church that serves food and preaches a sermon.
Yes they have curative there in the parking lot on the Mitchell and gramercy side. U make an appointment and u get the results within 1-2 days because I go everyday and get tested so I can see my mom in hospital. They are usually fast if u go in the afternoon by 1-3pm
They were canceled this year.
Nope. Canceled. Didn't explain why either.
The covid tests are being done through Curative. They are near the Parking lot on La Sierra Park near Gramercy/Mitchell St. Not in the La Sierra Senior Center. It is outside in the parking lot not in any building. You should make an appointment through their website. It is a drive through and will be faster if you have your appointment, ID, and haven't eaten in the past 20 min of your appointment.
Yes, they must be leashed. You can be cited for it if dogs are not on a leash because it's a city ordinance. Also, they do have a baggie station, so you don't need to bring your own, unless of course they run out.
All of the coaches get a key to the restrooms, so when there is an official game, one of the bathrooms will be open. Not all of them, just one.
I'm not sure when it was built, but it was renovated and expanded in 2008.
