A very nice park, with a great view of the Front Range. There are covered picnic tables made of plastic coated metal, paths, a playground for kids, a lake in which one can wade into.

Christina Lucero | Oct 18, 2018
Matt Nelms | Oct 18, 2018

Yes. Although I haven't seen a whole lot of people catch anything. Also make sure you bring some sun protection. Not a whole lot of shade.

Anyone pull out any bass yet this year? Rumored there was a die off winter 2018-2019?

B Watson | Oct 18, 2019

Last year around this time got into large mouth spawning and tore it up. Haven't seen them yet. Might be a weather thing. Lasted 2 days then they were gone. Only luck I have ever had there. With the water level always going super lower during the winter the population gets hit hard is my guess. Always people out there though

Fishing Harriman Lake is an irrigation ditch fed lake. It is 70 surface acres with an average depth of 15’ – 18’. All Colorado Division of Wildlife Fishing Regulations apply. Swimming, boating, wading, belly boats, and ice fishing are prohibited. Park History Harriman Lake Park is a cooperative effort between Foothills and Denver Water. Denver Water owns the lake and most of the land surrounding it. Foothills leases the recreation rights from Denver Water. This park was dedicated on October 21, 1995. An 11-acre parcel southwest of the lake was leased to Foothills from Jefferson County Open Space in 1995. From December 2011 – February 2013, Denver Water replaced the dam with a new earthen one to satisfy regulatory requirements and bring it to its full capacity for storage.

Wouldn't walk on it ever, it rarely gets cold enough long enough to freeze solid to walk on . There are cooler lakes up the mountain.

Harriman Park is accessible dusting daylight hours. Many people walk their dogs there. There aree coyotes. So it's inadvisable to walk small dogs after dusk.
