Yes absolutely beautiful wide trail that goes around the lake

Cheryl H | Oct 18, 2018

It can be. Bring mosquito spray.

Ernie Gallegos | Oct 18, 2018

Yes some parts rough some mud occasionally

John Hallsten | Oct 18, 2018

Yes it is gently sloping in areas but dirt / gravel all the way around the lake. It is about 1.5 miles around

Deborah Cousins | Oct 18, 2018

It might be too long for small children. Will want sunblock and bug spray.

Samantha Kelley | Oct 18, 2018

Yes

Tania Guerrant | Oct 18, 2018

I would say yes and no. Yes the trails are wide but they are super gravelly. It can also get pretty muddy there. And there always a ton of bugs. There are other parks that I think would be much better to take small children too. I have two young children and I've opted to not go there.

I have not seen that many dogs off leash, and have never, in the over 10 years I've walked there, felt threatened by a dog. It's good to know that there are dogs there, but for the most part (99%), they are very well-behaved. I feel small children are safe there.

Matt Nelms | Oct 18, 2018

Yes, just be aware that there are dogs off leash that should not be, owners ignore the rules. My friend got bit by one.

Neil Noeske | Oct 18, 2018

Plenty of room on the trail that surrounds the lake

leighton lautenschlager | Oct 18, 2018

Yes it is. The trail is flat and beautiful. I take my 3 year old fishing there and we bring his trike with.

Connie Havens | Oct 18, 2018

Yes, definitely!

Mathew Helzer | Oct 18, 2018

I should say yes. It's a dirt path that goes around the lake. No big hills. It's a pretty wide path so there's plenty of room.
