Produce is lackluster once again. Every blood orange bag had one or two rotten in it. Beefsteak tomatoes looked well outdated. There was a bag of peppers with a sign $4.99 for 2 lb but they were only 1 lb bags. When I took an extra 10 minutes to locate a manager with the bag and the sign in my hand, and she looked it up, for only response was that it's $4.99 for 1 lb bag. I had to insist that it's a bad idea for the sign to go backup and for my troubles she didn't offer to honor the labeled price on the sign. Overall, I expect to pay more for higher quality knowing that even stock items are $1-$2 higher than other grocers but it's convenient sometimes. Then I went to the meat counter and saw 2 strip steaks left of a $9.99/lb special (sign was right next to them and rest of tray was empty). I ordered them but apparently need to start checking my labels. When I got home I saw the label was "Bone in Rib Eye Steak Premium Choice" at $14.99/lb (I have pics). After the past three visits I'm likely to avoid all Fresh Markets from now on here (and when I travel). They were one of my preferred shopping locations over a Trader Joes or Whole Foods, but my experience keeps gone downhill. NOTE 5/17/22 I'VE FILLED OUT CUSTOMER SERVICE FORMS TWICE ON THEIR WEB SITE SINCE POSTING THE REVIEW PER THE RESPONSE BELOW - THE ONLY THING I RECEIVE IS AN AUTO-RESPONDER THAT THEY ARE WAY BEHIND.

I enjoy shopping at The Fresh Market. Employees are friendly and helpful. It is very clean, easy to park, and produce and meat and seafood are fresh. I have purchased produce especially swiss chard that was so fresh and colorful it could have been displayed in a vase! I also save $s by purchasing only quantity I need and not wasting food.

The Fresh Market never disappoints. This location in particular was my introduction to the chain and has always been very clean, has great produce, a really nicely curated deli, super friendly staff all around, and of course a large selection of high quality organic foods.
